Overview

This 9-day adventure to Patagonia offers an easy-paced yet deeply rewarding exploration of Chilean Patagonia. Beginning with a warm welcome and short city tour in Santiago, you’ll fly south to Punta Arenas for a gentle introduction to life at the edge of the continent. Highlights include an unforgettable boat trip across the Strait of Magellan to visit the massive Magellanic penguin colony on Magdalena Island (with possible sightings of sea lions, dolphins, and whales), followed by scenic drives through dramatic landscapes to Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine National Park. Inside the park, you’ll enjoy relaxed road trips with short, flat hikes to stunning viewpoints such as the turquoise Pehoé Lake and Salto Grande waterfall, the iconic granite Torres del Paine towers from the peaceful Laguna Azul, and a breathtaking catamaran navigation to the towering ice wall of Grey Glacier, where you may witness dramatic ice falls. Additional memorable stops include the historic Milodón Cave and possible wildlife encounters with guanacos, birds, and even eagles and condors. Throughout the trip, knowledgeable local guides ensure a safe, authentic, and meaningful experience in one of the world’s most spectacular regions. OPTIONAL 3 or 4 Day Easter Island Extension
