Cancellation & Refunds
Adios Adventure Travel Cancellation and Refund Policy
Adios Adventure Travel does not offer refunds for any reason, including personal illness, injury, changes in plans, weather, airline issues, strikes, force majeure events, or government restrictions. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, including Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage, to protect your investment. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and confirmed by a reply email from us to be valid.
For any trip to Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina or Chile, and islands or regions under their governance:
- A minimum 30%, non-refundable deposit is required at booking.
- Cancellations at any time: full deposit is retained (plus any non-refundable costs such as Inca Trail permits, flights, or advance bookings).
- Cancellations after final payment: 100% of the total price is retained.
- Any hike in South America including Inca Trail, and Machu Picchu tickets, are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances due to park regulations.
- Trips can be rescheduled if there is availability. Any additional costs will be your responsibility. Non-refundable advance purchases (flights, permits, luxury hotels, etc.) will be added to any retained amounts.
- Trips may be transferred in some cases. We will do our best to facilitate the transfer of your trip to another person of your choosing if they are eligible. (must be an adult with a passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the proposed scheduled travel dates.) There may be penalty fees which you or the new traveler would have to cover.
- If you are on your trip, your scheduled tours and activities may be suspended or substitutions may be made (with no refund) due to bad weather, safety concerns or any reason as determined by our tour guides or local authorities.
- Cancellation and refund policy is subject to change at any time.
- Adios Adventure Travel and its partners are not responsible for refunds or any additional expenses resulting from trip changes, flight changes and/or cancellations of any service by air, water or ground, for any reason.
