Angela Pumayali
Licenced Tour Guide
I was born in Cusco, the ancient Inca capital where I spent many happy times playing in Sacsayhuaman ruins with my father, who always told us about our Inca ancestors. I graduated from the University of San Antonio Abad in Cusco, with a degree in tourism and administration. Since then I have been involved in the tourism industry, gaining experience managing agencies and hotels in Cusco. In recent years, I decided to get involved in social work to maintain and preserve historical spaces in the city of Cusco. As a result, I had the wonderful opportunity to be named by the Ministry of Culture of Peru as one of the "Defenders of the Nation's Heritage," which makes me very proud. Following this, I now work as a licensed tour guide which is something I enjoy very much because I get to share my wonderful culture with travelers.
