Adios Adventure Travel offers a complete 2-day package tour to Uyuni Salar that starts and ends in La Paz, Bolivia.  Can be added to Machu Picchu or Lake Titicaca tour.   Additional services can be arranged in La Paz.  Extensions to Potosi & Sucre available. 

Day 1 - Pick up at hotel by 7 am in La Paz and transfer to El Alto airport for 1.5 hour flight to Uyuni. Your guide and driver await with 4x4 and accompany you to breakfast then continue to the Train Cemetery. Drive 1 hour to 4* Salt Flats Hotel for lunch then continue 2 hours to Fish Isle. Your private guide gives you all the details of salt mounds & salt processing. Return to Salt Hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 2 - Option to depart at 5:30 am for Sunrise on the Salar. Return to hotel for breakfast. Transfer to airport by 9:30 am for 10:30 am flight to La Paz.

Note:  many operators sub-contract and provide one driver who also serves as guide.  Adios DOES NOT do this.  We provide separate driver and guide and we do not sub-contract. 

It is imperative that reliable eye-protection be worn at all times during the day on the salar.  Guide will offer additional information to protect you from the elements including avoiding prolonged contact with the salt surface.  Salt is caustic to the skin and going barefoot is not recommended.
