Things you need to know about Discounts before you book your trip to Machu Picchu or Galapagos Islands:

The discount codes are valid for new bookings for travel in 2024, for specific dates listed below under each trip and in the online links
The deadline to reserve your dates and pay for any discounted trip to Machu Picchu. Inca Trail or Galapagos Islands is 4pm EST. December 3, 2023.
Trips to Machu Picchu start and end in Cusco, Peru. (tip: most international flights arrive in Lima, Peru. From there you can fly directly to Cusco. We suggest using Latam Airlines for the flight to Cusco. There is one hotel connected to the terminal in Lima if overnight accommodations are needed. Book Wyndham at Lima airport online)
Trips to Galapagos Islands start and end in Quito, Ecuador
After the deposit payment is confirmed, there are no date changes permitted.
Can you transfer your trip to someone else if you change your mind after making your deposit payment? Tickets and permits cannot be transferred except in some cases where penality fees may be charged. We'll do our best to assist you but we cannot guarantee it will happen.
Cost of domestic flights is not included in any trip.
We recommend that you let us book the domestic flight from Quito to Galapagos. (Add $600 USD per person to final balance due)

US passport holders do not need visas to enter Peru or Ecuador.
Passports are required to make your reservation and must be valid for at least 6 months after your travel dates. If anyone is planning to renew their passport, we need to know at the time your initial reservation is made. It is the traveler's responsibility to provide the correct travel documents for entry to Peru and Ecuador.

Can non-hiking members of your group reserve the 2-day trip to Machu Picchu and go by train?

Yes. Members of your group who can't or don't want to hike can stay on the train to the village of Aguas Calientes while the hikers are on the Inca Trail. Everyone meets up at the hotel later the same day in the village of Aguas Calientes. Then everyone goes together for the guided tour of Machu Picchu on the 2nd day. Can kids do the hike? Children age 16 and Under.

Yes, Kids can do the hike. Here's a hiking checklist for parents to determine if your kids are ready. Families or groups with children age 16 and under can qualify for the 10% discount if they have a minimum of 5 paying people (infants and toddlers don't count as they are usually free). You can choose any dates you like as long as you book your trip and pay your non-refundable deposit by 4pm December 3, 2023.
