Best for those who want to center their activities in and around Cusco and the traditional attractions. Includes the historical center, the Koricancha Temple and the Inca Museum, the Sacred Valley of the Incas and its picturesque towns, traditional artisan markets and archaeological sites including the ruins at Tambomachay, Pucapucara, Quenco and Sacsayhuaman. We'll explore the weaver's village of Chinchero and the oldest living Inca town, Ollantaytambo. And finally, a visit to Machu Picchu for a grand, guided tour.
Cusco:
We greet you at the airport and arrange the transfer to the hotel. Your guide escorts you on a private, walking tour of the city including the Cathedral and Qoricancha. You can do as little or as much as you like. This will give you a day to adapt to the 11,000 ft. altitude.
Cusco - Sacred Valley of the Inkas:
Tour the Sacred Valley of the Incas with stops in Chinchero, Maras, Moray and Ollantaytambo. Each town offers its own unique view of life and traditions established long ago. Chinchero is famous for producing hand-dyed and woven fabrics and Ollantaytambo is the oldest occupied Incan town.
Ollantaytambo - Machu Picchu:
You take the early train to Machupicchu where your guide conducts a private tour of the ruins. The remainder of the day you are free to explore the citadel on your own.
Machupicchu - Cusco:
You take the early train to Ollantaytambo and from there, you return to Cusco with stops in Pisac, Tambomachay, Quenqo, Sacsayhuaman.
Cusco:
Transfer to the airport at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled departure. Farewell & conclusion of our services.
