Travel between Cusco and Apurimac to discover the mystery of Choquequirao, the Last Refuge of the Incas. Pass through diverse ecological areas with unique flora and fauna. Cross the Vilcanota River to arrive in Santa Rosa for a taste of Cambray, a local sugar cane liquor. Our pack horses carry the load and our porters manage the campsites and meals, so you can concentrate on one thing, the incredible, billboard-free landscape and the opportunity to enjoy your encounter with nature in its most raw state. We continue to Marampata and the Coopesco Campsite. We'll enjoy a 4- hour visit to Choquequirao before we return to the Chiquiska campsite and finally to Cachora. After a visit to the Cconoc hot springs, we return to Cusco.
